My Batters Box instructor Glen Wilson has been offered a position as catcher on the Shreveport -Bossier Captains team. They are a professional baseball team based out of Shreveport, Louisiana. He is sorely missed, but we are extremely happy for him. Below is what he has to say about My Batters Box.
I have known Tina and Curtis of My Batters Box for close to two years now. As well as giving lessons and coaching their extremely talented teams, I have grown to know and love the staff there at My Batters Box. I can honestly say that whoever walks through those doors there at the cages seeking help, will leave better than when they arrived. Since I have been working there I have grown not only as a better baseball player, but as a better person as well. Those are the same principals that they instill in each child that comes seeking help. By the time the child leaves the facility, the My Batter's Box Staff will have not only have given them the tools to become a better player, but also a better person. Their motto “Indoor training, outdoor success” could not be more fitting. In two years of being at the cages, I have yet to see someone who has not left better than when they first came.
At My Batters Box, it is not a business, but a friendship. They do not gouge, over price, or take advantage of anyone who comes in. With a down home family atmosphere, friendly staff, vast knowledge of the game, and numerous tools for improving ones game, My Batters Box stands out among the rest. I would personally like to extend an invitation to anyone who reads this to go visit, and experience the difference.
